Some pictures I took at night during the cresent moon. Photos taken using a Nikon D50 with a 30 second exposure. Only edit was cropping using Picasa.

Elizabeth's First Tooth

Good News! Elizabeth's first tooth has broken through her gums. After a few
hours of grumpyness and chewing on a hard bread stick thingy for babies
there was a tooth! Pictures, I am sure, will be coming soon. In the
meantime, just know it's there.

Ok... So I uploaded a BUNCH of pictures to an SBC Yahoo album.. I'm now inviting you'all to see it. Can it be this simple? No formatting.. No resizing... just select and upload. Hmm.. maybe it can be simple.. You can also order prints (real pictures) for 19 cents a piece for 4x6 pictures... not a bad deal...

Elizabeth

Elizabeth is currently in the hospital at Lutheran with a lung infection.
She is in room 328 right now and hopefully for the duration of our stay.
She has a central line IV conected through her arm right now delivering
antibiotics and she also has a feeding tube through her nose into her
stomach for continuos feeding. She was in ICU overnight due to low potasium
levels but that issue has gone away and she's now just in a normal room. I
will try to keep adding updates as info becomes available. Right now we are
looking at her being in the hospital for at least 7 days and up to 14.

A problem with the problem page

So tonight I decide that since Caleb Nei has a cool blog going on I decided that I would give it a try and see what I can do.
5 hours later, I finally published my first sucessful weblog! (not this one... this is being written 10 minutes afterwards). Each time I would log into the account I found it funny that in the news section there was a message that said "The problem with the problem page has been fixed." I don't think my problem was with the problem page, but non-the-less I am glad they got it fixed before I found out about it. I don't know what I would have done if I would have taken my own problems to the problem page only to find out that it was having it's own problems! I feel sorry for the poor souls that found the problem.
It sort of reminded me of my problem at work today when I couldn't renew the virus software. I wrote out a really nice letter to contact the people at technical support to tell them about my problem and when I hit submit I got an error message that said I had a bad cookie or had my cookies turned off. So I went in, fixed everything that may have been bad, verified that cookies were turned on, and tried again. Still no luck. So, for the next ten minutes I tried to find a phone number to no avail. All of the contact us links went to the broken page... So... if anyone out there has a contact at computer associates could you tell them that have a problem with their problem page?
